How to treat vaginal itching?
First of all, you should get examined by doctor to detect the cause of itching. Usually, the itching results from an infection in the vagina which is treated by Fluconazole 100 mg once and metronidazole 500mg twice daily for one week. Additionally, you can use betamethasone cream three times per day for itching. Furthermore, it's advised to wear a cotton underwear and to keep the vaginal area clean and dry.

How to get diagnosed ?
By history and simple physical examinations. If it's uncertain, sample from the secretions might be taking to be examined under the microscope

• Offensive vaginal odour
• Redness of skin around the vagina
