Causes and treatment for breast lump:
First of all, it's recommended to have a clinical examination by your family doctor tp assess your condition as there are many causes for breast lump.The causes may vary and range from simple causes such as cyst or infections to more serious causes such as tumors.
Treatment may also vary according to the cuase and may include simple excision to more extensive procedures in case of malignancies, chemotherapy may be required in addition to sometimes radiotherapy or hormonal therapy as adjuvant treatments to prevent the recurrence of breast cancer if its documented. In case of infections, you may prescribed some antibiotics such as Augmentin in addition to aspiration of the abcess.

Diagnosis: 
Done by a clinical examination of the breast and knowing your medical history. In addition to that, imaging techniques such breast ultrasound/mammography and MRI. Biopsy is also indicated in some cases.
