Hello! I have an autistic sister who's almost 15 years old and she can't talk. almost a year now she started having seizures and this's something new to her and to us (her family) and it is really affecting her well being. We're still really lost, we are not sure how do deal with this and how to stay calm about it. She was Taking Kepam 500mg but few days ago we started noticing that it's making her more anxious so almost a week now she went to another neurologist because her last neurologist have Kepam 500mg and after she had 3 seizures in one day recently he adjusted the dosage to 750mg, and this drove her crazy and caused her stomach issues. Her new neurologist said that this medication shouldn't be recommended to those who suffer autism in the first place, so she suggested that she takes kepam 250mg because this's more suitable for her age and she recommended that she takes it alongside carbamazepine for the moment until she changes her medication completely. This neurologist was more from patients that's why we decided get her opinion on the matter. Today she had a weird episodeshe was sitting on a chair she moved to the back with the chair and then she seemed like she bowing down and then she got up and she was a bit angry, and then she was normal again, and all of this happened quickly and suddenly. I want to know what do you think about her condition in general and if you think this new medication will help her, and thank you in advance.
