Welcome! How can I help with your medical question? Hello there and a good day to you. Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? I am So desperate for some help, my Name is Nevin ( sounds like Kevin but with an N in the beginning. I have Been taking Klonopin for the past 5 years, yes as needed because I have Social anxiety and it helps me thrive in my career and right now I’m about to blow a huge opportunity here in saudi because in meetings my hands shake, I cant Write on the board, people can notice. I cant Breath. My heart races and I basically Feel like I’m going to have a seizer.and need to call the emergency. I have These awful heafaches that I cant Even see. I have Shocks and can’t sleep and all because Saudi Arabia doesn’t understand that even if a person wants to quit, you can’t cut them off cold turkey. I am In total hell Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know? Nothing else except social anxiety. I dont Drink. I domt Smoke. I dont Drink coffee.

The social anxiety is a kind of chronic anxiety. It symptoms are: excessive sweating and heart palpitations respiratory disturbance the tremors of the limbs are impaired concentration and dispersion of thoughts. The one who suffer from social anxiety fears that he or she might commit a mistake in front of others especially strangers so they would criticize him. For the treatment, know that it is only fear and it is not considered as a disease. Practice relaxation to treat the tension which cause  the fear. Imagine, and it is an effective therapy, enter in a quiet place, close your eyes, imagine the situation which makes you fear or feel shy to get over it and get rid of anxiety. Continue this exercise and face the situation, and you will find that you can control the anxiety. Face these situations, write some words and read them at lowed in front of your friends and face this feeling. Later increase the number of your friends so you can control these emotions and to start meeting others and speak at lowed. Practice exercises as it help you to get rid of the stress and anxiety. Meet others establish relationships to improve your self-confidence. After that, if you are unable to get rid of it, you need to seek medical therapy. It may help you to take medication temporary in order not to waist the job opportunity.
