Dear Customer,
Welcome, and thank you for trusting us
Disturbance leads to non-fluency in speech, as it appears in forms of repetition, interruption or lengthening in pronouncing certain letters or words.
Causes of stuttering:
Neural causes: a problem in my brain and muscles, so as that the signals do not perform properly during speech.
Psychological causes: such as the patient has experienced a shocking incidence, which led to this problem with tension, anxiety, deprivation.
Genetic causes: i.e. a family member that used to have the same problem.
As, this stuttering is also related to social upbringing, family environment, emotional status. Its symptoms appear as repetition of speech, such as saying: Th, th, thank u, and also prolonging the letters pronunciation, as each sound has a specific pronunciation. When the letter is pronounced in a long manner, the more problematic it sounds, as well as inability to pronounce the sounds at the beginning of the word, part of speech or sentence.
Methods of Treatment:
You have to make sure that there is no organic problem that causes stuttering
Try to avoid stressful situations that could cause you distress, tension or anxiety and therefore you fall into stutter even indirectly or involuntarily.
In the meantime, talk to yourself quietly. You can use sentences and short phrases to prolong the consonants, and gradually you will be able to control the pronunciation and letters you utter / speak of.
Do relaxation exercises to comfort yourself, as this will create positive energy to yourself.
Make sure of adjusting your breathing pace by taking inhalation and exhaling in a right way, as it will enable you to say the words and letters completely correct without confusion or stuttering during speech.
You can take inhale the breath through the nose and lock it inside for a few seconds, but do not hurt yourself and then exhale it from the mouth quietly and audibly.
Repeat this exercise whenever you can.
Train yourself at home on pronouncing words that you find difficult. You can bring a paragraph, phrase or letter and read it aloud, this will give you confidence in yourself and helps you to speak fluently and smoothly.
Practice relaxation exercises. You can watch videos on YouTube so you can learn how to do them correctly.
We are privileged to communicate with you, and you can always consult many experts on Jawabkom like Doctors, Nutritionists, and Engineers
