We would like to inform you the below:
Diabetic diet
The diabetic diet is established in coordination with the patient's own physician and is established based on:
1. The weight and height of the person and based on his nutritional assessment and nutritional status of normal weight or thinner or increased weight or obesity and degrees.
2. Age of the person.
3. Sex is male or female.
4. Type of insulin prescribed by the doctor.
5. The number of insulin doses and the quantity of each dose.
6. All prescription drugs and dose.
7. The health status of the person and the health conditions associated with diabetes.
8. Level of physical activity of the person.
9. The nature of the life system followed by the person.
10. Periodic medical examinations.
Diabetes Diet Guidelines
1. Eat healthy food varied from all food groups
2. Food should be distributed to a diabetic with a carbohydrate content of only 50 to 60 percent of the total energy
3. Eat 6 meals a day, three main and three of them, and the duration of each meal should not exceed 5 hours
4. Eat foods rich in nutrients from vitamins and minerals
5. Preferably the last meal before bed, especially if the patient is treated with insulin
6. Do not eat 30 to 45 minutes of taking insulin or diabetes pills
7. Replace animal fats with plant fats such as olive oil
8. For example, you should eat a portion of bread or a portion of fruit after the activity
9. Avoid sugars such as sugar, sugar and sweets
10. Your doctor should be consulted when following a weight loss diet
11. Drink at least 3 liters of water per day to compensate for excess sweating and urination

Thanks for the answer, which can be considered as a general guide line. It is not a sample of a practical program that can be adopted. For example, which foodstuffs are to be taken in the suggested six meals and which ones are to be avoided.My doctor is advising me to see a nutritionist and you are saying that the diet must be coordinated with the physician.Regards.
