We would like to inform you that if the mentioned symptoms are similar to the symptoms of depression, which is a state of sadness and frustration with the tendency to isolation and inability to enjoy life.
Symptoms:
-The feeling of constant sadness without reason and isolation from others.
-Feeling despair and helplessness and getting depressed and crying continuously.
-The mental functions are affected and appear to be characterized by a slow pace, lack of attention, distraction and inability to concentrate.
-Severe nervousness and mood changing.
-Feeling tired and exhausted of the minimum effort and inability to relax.
-Sleep disorders.
-Change of appetite either increases or decreases.
-Feeling that your life is aimless and meaningless.
Depression may be due to several causes:
- Depression may be associated with disorders such as anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
- Exposure to problems and stress for a continuous period.
- Exposure to severe trauma such as loss of a loved one.
- history of patients in the family affects the emergence of depression
- Malfunction or lack of neurotransmitters at the center of the brain, which in turn is responsible for emotions, mood and behavior.
In order to treat depression, it is necessary to resort to psychotherapy to describe the treatment of the drug and to improve the mood. Psychotherapy is also a cognitive behavioral therapy that in turn modifies negative thoughts and corrects misconceptions.
There are some tips that help to reduce the feeling of depression:
- Put negative thoughts aside and think positively.
- Regular exercise will save you from negative energy.
- Get out of the house for a walk, buy some needs or eat in a restaurant that improves your mood.
- Talk to someone close to you and tell them about your problems and concerns.
- Develop your self-confidence and discover the points of your strength and exploit them. Also, do the positive things you love.
- Organize your life and make a daily plan for all the tasks required from you, it reduces the sense of pressure greatly.
- Treat your problems as they will not continue, and you have to face them with challenge and patience, there is no problem without a solution.
- Be close to Allah when you perform your duties, because Allah is the one who set the soul and heart at rest.
