Welcome! What kind of problem or issue would you like to discuss with the therapist?(i.e. Relationship counseling, depression, addiction,etc) I have sleeping problems more than 6 months I consult nurolegy docter he proscribed zopiclone 7.5 and revotril 2.5 Have you sought out therapists or counsellors about this before? ...or tried anything else? I saw psychiatric docter he advice take tryptizol 50mg and zopiclone 7.5 and don't take clonazepam Anything else you think the psychologist should know before I connect you? My age 62 I devosred my wife more than 21year I have one daughter 22year old she is with her I don't marry again so this age I think more I thinks this is my sleepless

We would like to inform you that what you suffer from is insomnia and it is one of the common sleep disorders, which is the difficulty of going to sleep or continue it.

Some of its reasons:

-  Irregular sleep schedules.

- Taking some drugs that cause insomnia.

-  Some medical conditions such as gastrointestinal problems, increased thyroid secretion and diseases of the nervous system.

-  Frequent exposure to problems and stress, which in turn lead to anxiety, tension and a lot of thinking, which is the closest to your situation these feelings leads to the multitude of ideas and contention and the feeling of sadness and frustration, especially at bedtime. Although sleep is a biological need for humans, but the psychological situation plays a large role in the efficiency of sleep.

The treatment of insomnia is related to the treatment of the main cause of it, so you must first make medical examination to ensure the absence of an organic cause of sleep disorder and if the cause of the problems and pressures you have to face and end and fight against thinking, especially before sleep.

Here are some tips to help you get rid of this problem:

Create new convictions about your life and about sleeping and ignore those negative thoughts that affect you.

Work on improving your mental state through exercise, relaxation exercises, getting out, keeping in touch with close friends, and doing all the things you like.

Kill out the boring and the emptiness in your life and make your day busy with work, hobby or other things.

Make sure you have fixed hours to wake up and sleep.

Avoid stimulant beverages such as coffee, tea, etc. which contain caffeine, especially before bedtime.

Follow healthy eating habits and not eat fatty meals before sleeping.

If ideas starts controlling you at bedtime, get up and write what is the reason of these ideas and concerns, this method makes you aware of the reasons for your feelings of concern and put the causes of the problem in their real size and can be found out as silly and illogical things.

Practice some good behaviors before bedtime and self-absorption, such as taking a hot bath, reading some of the azkar "prayers", wearing comfortable clothes.
