Please tell me something I don’t already know. I have thyroids, they make me angrier that I should normally be. That’s the issue, I don’t know HOW to relax. What are your payment methods?

I guess breathing exercise might help, I don’t want to ever take medication. How do I consult a therapist? I don’t want to talk about my issues with the people around me, I find it better to go see a therapist for that. I don’t know how to break the news to my mom, for our society is so stupid, it thinks that doing so brings shame, when all I’m doing it seeking help. How do I start?

I have an abusive father who's also an alcoholic, he has anger issues and we have to endure that. My mother is doing her best to provide us financially with everything that we lack, but mentally, it's not enough. I had a hard time living, and at some point thought about taking my own life, for this isn't a life someone should ever experience. I've times where I prefer to live a poor life on the streets that in this household. My father himself didn't have a well life, nor did my mom, and though this was supposed to be her happily ever after, but it turned out to be a devastating tragedy.Though he's NOW starting to realize what his actions have sacrificed, he still rages each once in a while, and it's harder to get over it by the minute. I no longer feel safe, I had no childhood for it was a tragedy, and I keep locking my room every time I sleep. I'm constantly worried and alert, I wake up in the middle of the night with my heart beating fast, so worried that something might happen, and I can't sleep again. I'm always at the edge of my seat, I forgot how to lean back and relax. I've been in continuous sadness for the past 4 years, and every time I think I got up, I fall again, and again. I hate my father so much, that I don't care if he dies. He put me in so much pain and agony, that I still wake up at night because of nightmares. I've been cold and I've been numb, it's like I was dipped in mud.It took about 15 years, but now, ever since I've been diagnosed with thyroids I no longer want to be this way. I have a goal in my head that I want to achieve, and in order to do that, I want to heal. I want to be able to say that I'm okay and truly mean it. However, I don't talk to the people around me because they are not trust worthy, I mean, after all I've been through, I barely trust myself at times. My older brother has too much on his shoulders, and my mother can't take anymore pain, I don't want to be another burden of hers. I have two younger siblings that I worry about, I know that deep inside that they are struggling, and I don't know what to do to help them through this. I no longer want them to endure what happened, and I don't want that too, but how can we when it's still happening? I want them to open up to me and I want to be able to take the first step, I want my family members to really be aware of what we're going through and what mental health really means. This is why I want to seek a therapist, It's not about anxiety or stress, it's mostly a matter of living life through its struggles. I want us to cope, I want to cope before anything else.
