We would like to inform you that many people suffer from sleep disorders, whether these disorders are being not able to sleep or waking up more than once during sleep with difficulty to sleep again or excessive sleep in which the person sleeps for hours beyond the normal limit, which indicates the lack of sleep efficiency and its interruptions, which makes the body needs to make up for it at inappropriate times.
Causes of sleep disorders:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Psychological stress
- Wrong sleeping habits
- Environmental changes or changes in the timetable
- Overeating in the late hours
Here are some health advice for normal sleep:
- Do exercises before bedtime.
- Keep things that occupy you or capture your attention from the bedroom.
- Avoid stimulants at least four hours before bedtime.
- Do not eat any heavy meals and adhere to light healthy food.
- Observe your sleep and wake up times.
- Reading Quran before bedtime and ask for forgiveness which will help you to relax and calm your self.
