Psychological depression is an emotional imbalance and emotional disorder that a person feels as a result of a combination of feelings of despair, intense sadness and frustration, which affects the soul and body, and affect all aspects of his life, including social interaction and loss of pleasure in life even in things loved, and may be due to intense psychological pressure as a result of repeated failures, or painful experiences such as the loss of a loved one. Symptoms of psychological depression:
Feeling very sad and suffocation.
Feeling helpless, hopeless, and scolding.

Social isolation.

Insomnia or excessive sleep.
Eating disorder or loss of appetite.
Physical pain without organic explanation such as headache, abdominal pain, stomach and back.
Low energy and difficulty in concentrating.
Inability to do work and make decisions.
Psychological stress.
Mood swings and often melancholic mood.
Feeling lost and aimless life.
Thinking of suicide or self-harm in advanced depression.

Treatment:

Psychotherapy: It is to go to the psychologist to talk about your feelings to discover the main causes and direct you to get rid of them radically, and receive help sessions and psychological support.

Cognitive therapy: is to get rid of negative beliefs and irrational thoughts, and modify the cognitive structure, as opposed to a positive view of the trick.
Behavioral therapy.

Physical therapy: is to reduce negative energy and rejuvenate. Do relaxation exercises for 20 - 30 minutes daily to reduce anxiety, tension and stress. Take care of good sleep habits and healthy diet. Take care to entertain yourself daily, go out for walks and spend some fun. Positive conversations with friends and motivating oneself with encouraging words, such as I am strong, and I will overcome these obstacles.

Drug therapy: Since the case has reached self-harm it may pose a danger to himself or others around him, so he should go to the doctor immediately to assess the situation and to dispense drugs of antidepressants and what is necessary, and follow-up with the doctor until recovery.
