Dear Customer,
Thanks for joining and trusting us, much appreciated!
We would like to inform you that self-harm is a person's intentional physical injury. Usually, a person with this condition is confidential and unknowingly, and self-harm is used as a method to overcome difficult or painful feelings. These behaviors include:
- the wound
- Biting or hitting the breath.
- Scratch or scratching of the sores (if any on the body)
- Scratch the skin
Causes of self-harm:
- Injustice or harm.
- Loss of a dear person.
- Physical abuse.
- Severe illness or disability which affected their feeling towards themselves.
- Family problems or with co-workers or study.
- Punishment of the soul
The general image of the person who is hurting himself is that:
- Overly sensitive to rejection by others.
- A chronic feeling of anger, usually anger towards himself.
- Highly aggressive feelings.
- Have bad ways to adapt to things.
- Reckless and impulsive.
- Depressed and anxious
To overcome the urge to self-harm, you should overcome them by following:
- Get psychological support from a family member, friend or psychologist.
- Be careful to stay among people when you feel the desire to hurt the self and remove any sharp machine or toxic substance from the place.
- Distract the mind as much as possible until the person is able to control the desire to hurt himself.
- Postpone self-harm until after talking with someone, or for a quarter of an hour (and try to extend the quarter of an hour to another quarter whenever the quarter ended until the desire to disappear).
- Writing in a diary.
- Exercise, as this helps to get rid of the excess energy of anger that may attract the desire to self-harm.
- Playing video or computer games, as this is a good way to distract the mind from self-harm.
- Drawing or writing with a red pen on the body instead of his wound and blood flow.
Exercise is one of the methods of relaxation, for example, meditation usually helps to reduce anxiety.
- Screaming.
- Crying, crying is a natural and healthy way to express sadness or frustration (and does not indicate weakness).
