I dreamt about my mum who passed away 4yrs ago...
I dreamt about my mum who passed away 4yrs ago during the hajj stampede. Unlike the previous dreams I use to have of her looking young, elegant and happy, in this dream I saw her looking old, slimmer and tired also not looking happy, I had to support her to walk into a room I do not recognized. Thank you very much

Praise is to Allah. We seek refuge in Him. He is not misguided. He who is guided by Allah no one shall mislead him. And no one shall guide a misleading person. I testify that there is no god but Allah, who has no partner and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.

When you used to see your mum in a good way and young it means you are not forgettin her with your dua, however seeing her old could mean that you stopped making dua and istighfar for her, therefore make a lot of dua and istighfar and sadaqa for her.
The dream of the dead is either to be a sermon and a lesson for the reciter to remember death and always prepare for him with good deeds and do not forget cause of conveniences of this life. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: " Death is Enough as an Admonition ". Or to reminder of the need of the dead to pray, seek forgiveness, charity, and acts of righteousness that are prescribed according to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: " When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ceaseless charity, a knowledge which is beneficial or a virtuous descendant who prays for him", that's for one of the parents or both then he is their righteousness after their death, even if it is for other relatives or friends, it is a good Covenant. Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: " The good of the covenant is from the faith".
So the person shall remember his dead relatives with duaa and ask Allah to forgive them and always talk about good things for them.
I ask Allah to guide you to what He loves and pleases, and to go beyond the evils of your deeds and to enter us and you in His mercy.
