Personal import of medicines from outside the country
Individuals may bring prescription medications for private use provided they are within the normal quantity. In order to submit an application to import medicines from outside the country for the purpose of personal use, the person must communicate with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, fill out the form of importing medicines for personal use from the Ministry of Health, and provide a prescription from the attending physician to obtain the required permission.
