Hi. I got my period 2 days ago...kind of strange...

Vaginal spotting as an indication of Pregnancy 
Pregnancy happen after the mature ovum got fertilized by a healthy sperm after that the fertilized ovum form the zygot which migrate toward the endometrium for implantation which if happen a few bloody drops brown in color present through the vagina and mis-interpretted as menses. If pregnancy test is positive then you should have your daily folic acid tab till the 18 week of gestation in addition to Iron supplementation if Hgb is below 12. You should consult an obstitretian for follow up.
Investigations 
After proper physical exam you should do the quantitative b Hcg TEST to detect the level of pregnancy hormone, then you should do cbc for Hgb evaluation, Fasting glood sugar test which should be below 85, Pelvic US for uterus evaluation and detection of pregnancy sac if not to rule out molar pregnancy.
Causes 

• Gestational Sac implantation 
• Molar pregnancy 
• Threatened abortion

You are adviced to have a healthy diet rich in minerals and vitamins from their natural sources, have daily folic acid and iron, avoid smoking and get some bed rest
