How Fatty liver can be treated ?
you have to follow some instrucions to relieve the symptoms of fatty liver and to avoid complications such as control your diabetes by regularly taking the prescribed medications and you can use drugs to decrease the level of cholestrol such as statin or others , it's important to take care of your diet that should contain no (or tiny amount) fats or oils and no heavy meals , also avoid taking drugs that affects liver also you have to lose weight , you'll also be prescribed other medications depending on the associated symptoms 
What tests should be done :
regular tests can be done in your case such as liver function tests :Bilirubin ,AST , ALT , Alk.Phosphatase, and ultra sound
FBS and lipid profile 
What are the symptoms of fatty liver ?
Yellow eyes 
red palms 
tremor 
abdominal discomfort 
liver enlargment 
spider nevi
