My 2 years female baby have cerebral atrophy...

Symptomes and management of cerebral atrophy 
Cerebral atrophy is a pathological condition that affect the cortex og the brain due to developmental insult that happen during child birth, it affects the cerebral cortex to develop state of generalized muscular weakness and atrophy, loos of motor power and muscle tone, the baby will be floppy and will have difficulties of walking and development. Its a perminant disease and beast modified with continious physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation after consultation of physiotherapist.
Investigations 
After proper physical exam the baby should have EEG to define the state of electrical activity in the brain and MRI of the brain to define the degree of atrophy 
Causes 

• Hypoxia during delivery
• Hypoglycemia at birth 
• Inborn errors of metabolism 
• Congeintal brain atrophy 
• Viral infection in fetal peroid 

Our advice 
The baby should be fed with a well balanced diet rich in minterals and vitamins, perform a scheduled physiotherapy plan and functionl rehabilitation
