Treatment depends on the cause of such pain, and according to your description it mostly due to muscle spasm, ao you can treat such pain by taking cataflam 50 mg twice daily for 5-10 days, muscle relaxant as balgesic tablet twice daily for 5 days and diclofene gel twice daily.

Diagnosis of the cause of back pain:

You have to visit your doctor for clinical examination and investigations as chest x-ray to rule out infection, back x-ray to rule out muscle spasm, and you have to rule out cardiac causes by doing ECG, ECHO...etc

Causes of back pain when breathing:

It may be due to:

• Muscle spasm
• Chest infection
• Cardiac causes
• Anemia...etc
