Yes , the numbness is the sign of tenden or nerve injury or there is comtaminated wound

What is the treatment of deep cuts

You likely need sutures if the wound is large and/or exposes fat or muscle tissue, pressure and elevation isn’t controlling the bleeding, and the wound is over a joint.

There is  tissue adhesive may be used as an alternative to traditional stitches.

 

After 7 days you can remove it in any clinic near home

 

Redness , Swelling , Pus or drainage and Excessive pain

 

Dressing   Most wounds should be covered with an antibiotic ointment and a non-adhesive dressing immediately after laceration repair
Bathing  Wounds closed with non-absorbable suture may be gently cleaned with mild soap and water after 24 hours Then An antibiotic ointment can be applied to the wound as well, with instructions to apply the ointment two times per day at home until suture removal.
Patients with sutures should also not swim in natural bodies of water because of a potential increased risk of infection

Prophylactic antibiotics  for preventing wound infection after suturing simple lacerations

Tetanus prophylaxis   should be provided for all wounds as indicated

 

 

Stop the bleeding. By  applying  pressure with a clean bandage or cloth, and keep that part of your hand  elevated above the heart

Clean the wound. Every cut has the potential to become infected, so once you have controlled the bleeding, you should rinse the area with tap water

Use an antibiotic ointment

Cover the wound

Change the dressing.  once a day is appropriate

Get stitches for deep wounds
 

If any complication appear , you should refer to  the  surgery ER to  complete the treatment and make the necessary tests
