Diabetes Diagnosis
By performing a fasting blood glucose level , random blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin (Hba1c)
In non-diabetic : fasting blood glucose is between (60-99mg / dl) , random blood glucose or 2hr after a meal is less than 140mg / dl, or the Hba1c is between 4.5-6%
A patient with diabetes : fasting blood glucose is more than or equal to (126mg / dl) , random sugar or 2hr after a meal is more than or equal to 200mg / dl, Hba1c is more than or equal to 6.5%
On the basis of the tests, either sugar-reducing pills or insulin injections are given
What are the symptoms of diabetes in general
Feeling thirsty and high desire to drink
Urinate a lot
Weight gain in type 2 diabetes

What are the types of diabetes
Diabetes type 1: It often affects young people and its first symptom is a diabetic coma
Its exact reason is not known, but most medical opinions claim that the body attacks the beta cells responsible for producing insulin, causing a rise in the level of blood sugar.
Type 2 diabetes: It mostly affects the elderly
The reason for this type is the lack of sensitivity of the body's cells to insulin, with a gradual decrease in the production of insulin, which leads to a gradual rise in the level of sugar.
What is thr risk factor
being overweight
a family history of diabetes
having a high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol level lower than 40 mg/dL or 50 mg/dL
a history of hypertension
having gestational diabetes or giving birth to a child with a birth weight of more than 9 pounds
a history of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
being of African-American, Native American, Latin American, or Asian-Pacific Islander descent
