My 10byear old daughter has had a fever of 38-39...
My 10byear old daughter has had a fever of 38-39 since 7am despite me administering medication (panadol and brofen) alternatively.. Any advice on how to help bring the fever down, it is currently at 39,last dose she took was panadol at 8:30pm

What is the treatment of High fever ?
first of all you have to try to lower the fever by medications such as pregular paracetamol 500mg 3 times per day and drink as much water as you can you also can use wet compress and stay in bed , you propably need an antibiotic in case of bacterial infection such as Augmentin in case of Respiratory tract infection
What are the tests needed ?
doctor will look for any signs or symptoms such as cough m diarrhea or else , CBC is also required to detect the source of infection if it's bacterial or virla , some times you need to do chest x-ray to detect the presence of URTI , if COVID-19 is suspected :PCR is needed then
