Dear Sir/Madam, salam walekhum On 12th September 2020, my wife (Rudra Kumari Karki) was admitted to hospital under severe abdominal pain. She was admitted through emergency and taken directly for emergency procedures. After sometime, I received a sad and heart-breaking news that we lost our baby due to complication. This was our first baby and this tragedy has devastated our family. During discharge, the total accumulated bill amounted to AED 21600/-but I cannot pay the bill due to my financial condition. Earlier this year, I was tested positive for Covid-19 and was in quarantine for more than a month. After testing negative, I was discharged but my financial condition became bad when my company reduced my salary by 25%. Adding to misery, my salary was further reduced to 50% which further worsen my financial situation. Under such circumstances, I couldn’t afford medical insurance nor can I pay hospital bills. The hospital discharged my wife on postdated cheaque guarantee but even if I save money for 12 months, I cannot pay the bill under my present condition. Please consider my request for waiver of hospital bills which would reduce trauma due to sudden loss of our baby. We will be truly grateful and pray for your generosity towards us.
