Hi doctor I had a question regarding my periods...

Hi doctor I had a question regarding my periods cycle. Actually on sept 28 I had abortion pills and started bleeding .With heavy flow and then came to normal and in end little spotting in total took around 18 days my blood stopped and had white discharge also and then after a week I took my pregnancy test it was negative. And now from 26 oct and 27 I had brown spotting and now there is a blood red colour in slow flow arriving. My question is it my normal periods started from 26 October... Can u please guide..

What is the treatment of uterine bleeding ?
Actually , there are many causes for your condition as the side effects of abortion pills and the consequnces of abortion or it might be a normal mestrual cycle which contines for 3-7 days and have bright red color .
Signs and symptoms of Abortion :
  • Severe abdominal pain .
  • Bleeding .
  • Cramps .
  • Abnormal discharge .
  • Passage of contents .

Complications of Abortion :
  • Bleeding .
  • Severe pain .
  • Infection .
  • Anemia .
  • Uterine rupture .

What to do now ?
You have to do clinical assessment in the nearest medical center if the bleeding continues and to do Ultrasound to ensure that abortion was complete .
