How to treat H.pylori?
The treatment includes the use of several treatments, including AMOXICILLIN or CLARITHROMYCIN with METRONIDAZOLE for two weeks, and OMEPRAZOLE treatment for 6 weeks. It is also advised to reduce eating foods rich in hot spices, avoid soft drinks, quit smoking and alcohol, avoid eating late in the evening, in addition to drinking adequate amounts of water daily at a rate of at least one liter.

The diagnosis?
Do a clinical medical examination with the gastroenetrologist. Complete blood test (CBC) as a routine procedure to detect the presence of infections or anemi. Stool analysis to detect the H.pylor antigen and do a UREA BREATH test. Upper GIT endoscopy can also be used to detect the presence of a stomach ulcer.
