Symptomes and treatment of high kidney function tests
Kidneys are an essential orgnas to clear the body from excess water and toxins and for the metabolism of drugs in addition to their role in blood production through induction of erythropoisis, kidneys are liable to kidney injury that can occur on acute or chronic manner with decline of kidney filtration rate and elevation of kidney function testing Urea above 18 and Cr above 1.1, Kidney failure is categorized in to grades depending on decline in GFR that should be calculated by the bephrologist and treated with conservative and avoidance of kidney injuring agents like analgesics or to determine the need for renal replacement therapy if severe elevation is noted in kidney functions .
Investigations
After proper physical exam, cbc to rule out anemia , quantification of kidney function will be based upon measurment of Urea ,Cr ,Uric acid ,Na, Measurment of caclium and urine analysis for protein detection, Lupus markers ANA, Anti Ds DNA, RF, ESR should be done to detect SLE, Diabetes should be uncovered using randome blood glucose testing, BP should be measured , Renal US to detect atrophy and cystic disease, Kidney biopsy to detect interstitial disease
