Treatment of high blood pressure:

Treatment depends on many factors as causes of high blood pressure, patient age and general health, so treatment may be by conservative treatment as doing rgular exercise, decrease weight, avoid salts, avoid smoking, avoid high fat food, avoiding stress, and if there is no response you need to take medications as calcium channed blockers, ACE inhibitors, beta blockers...etc

Diagnosis of high blood pressure:

It depends on the clinical examination by internal medicine doctor and investigations as measurement of blood pressure ( normal less than 140-80 ), cholesterol and triglyceride levels, renal and liver function tests, ECH and Echo for cardiac problems...etc

Symptoms of high blood pressure:

Usually it asymptomatic, and patient may suffer from the following symptoms:

• Headache
• Dyspnea
• Chest pain
• General fatigue...etc
