the 1st test is the past medical history and clinical examination , a pregnancy test ( bhcg test ),  an ultrasound of the pelvic and lower abdomen to check for any uterine fibroid , polycystic ovarian syndrom and in case of suspected peremenstrual syndrome then the amh test ( antimullarian hormone test ) is conducted to check for the level of fertility that indicates entering a state of menopause
