When we talk about DVT and PE , primarily will talk about risk factor of DVT will descripe below , then PE as complication of DVT which cause by embolus go through blood vessles which cause obstruction in lung vessels which cause hypoperfusion of lung and problem with respiratory and if not treated will cause ischemia of lung , In your case after manage with eliqius which is anticagulant and daflon which is ventropic agent which improve blood flow in veins but still swelling , we advise you to go to vascular surgeon to repeat dopplar ultrasound to confirm there is no thrombosis and avoid risk of new PE , and to make diagnosis may be post -thrombotic syndrome which come with symptoms chronic pain , swelling of lower extremity  ,heaviness of leg and cramping and we treat it by compression stocking 
: Diagnosis
We advise you to go to vascular surgery to do dopplar ultrasound to avoid new thrombosis and complication of PE , and take detailed history , do examination and some investigations and if diagnosed with post-thrombotic syndrome can treat by compression stocking
