Treatment of breach presentation at at term
The criteria for normal vaginal delevery should include cephalic ( Head) presentation of the fectus at term (After 37 wks of pregnancy) and if the baby is oriented in the head up position vaginal delivery should not be allowed, the treatment of this position will be through external cephalic version which is done at 37 wks under ultrasound guidance at obstetrician office to rotate the head of the baby to be oriented downward.
Investigations
After proper physical exam, cbc should be done to exclude anemia, Abdominal US should be done to confirm the poistion of the baby and the placenta, CTG for the baby should be done prior to the procedure to confirm stability of the baby, testing for blood group should be done to detect posibilty of allo-immunization that can result from mother -baby mismatch of blood gruop.
Possible side effects

• Vaginal bleeding
• Placenta abruption
• Labour initiation
• Immune reaction toward the baby if Rhogam not given
