Management of Meralgia parasthetica
Meralgia parasethetica is a pathological condition of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve compression that should be managed by removal of the cause of compression of the nerve by encourgement of weight loss and wearing loose clothing, use of analgesics is of benifit if conservative treatment failed to prove benifit, You can use Pregabaline 75 mg tab twice daily for 10 days which works as neuromodulator, in addition to Eterocoxib 120 mg tab which works as anti-inflammatory agent for removal of any surrounding inflammatory process. If symptomes perisisted pain management procedures of local nerve block can be utilized using ultasound guidance, in some cases surgical management of decompression could be done, consult a neurologist for follow up .

After proper physical exam, nerve conduction studies should be done to detect the state of nerve compression, in some cases MRI coulf be done to detect any masses that produce nerve compression
