Treatment of burning during urination :

urinary tract infections are fairly common especially among women and children . For treatment we recommend taking enough rest , drink more water , at least 3 liters daily , take care of the perineal region hygiene , avoid excess intake of salty and spicy foods , you may also drink cranberry juice as it helps in decontaminating the urinary tract . For pain and fever relief , we recommend using Paracetamol 500 mg three times daily , in addition to the antibiotic Cefuroxime 500 mg twice daily for 5 days , you may also use the oral suspension of D-mannose as complementary to the antibiotic  .

Diagnosis :

This requires full history and clinical examination , in addition to urine analysis to look for elevation in the white cells count and bacteria .

Associated symptoms :

• Fever
• lower abdominal pain
• loin pain
• nausea 
• vomiting
• sweating
• red urine
