What is the treatment of vomiting in your child?
Treatment depends on the reason, so I recommend taking the child directly to the children's hospital because of the constant risk of vomiting at his life, where:
The necessary tests are made
Give a PRAMIN injection to stop vomiting
Intravenous solution to replace fluid
Replacing blood salts if necessary
Give him antibiotics in case of a fever
referral to pediatric surgery in the case of a narrowing or blockage in the intestine
What are the causes of vomiting?
Intestinal flu
Gastritis
Brain injury
Bowel obstruction
Meningitis
What tests are needed for your child?
Performing a clinical examination by a pediatrician to exclude possible causes
Blood test
Check the acidity and blood gases
Stool examination
Cerebrospinal examination to exclude Meningitis in case of fever
What are the signs that there is a Meningitis?
If this vomiting accompanied a high temperature
If the child appears ill and does not eat well
If the child spends many hours sleeping and does not interact with those around him
What are the signs that there is a gastroenteritis?
When vomiting coincides with diarrhea
