Treatment of dental abscess
It is common problem. Treatment of abscess is by Incision & Drainage of abscenss thus you have to visit dentist. after treatment, you can take antibiotic like AMOXICILLIN 500 mg three times daily for one week in addition to analgesic like Ibbuprofen 400 mg three times daily to relieve pain.
Investigations to do
It is clinical diagnosis. There is no need for blood tests

There are many causes like
