Baby (6 months old) was laying, strapped in a...
Baby (6 months old) was laying, strapped in a stroller when her older brother (6 years old) took the handle grip of the stroller and shook left and right. It was only few seconds while i stopped him, but the movements made baby's head to move side to side ( jolted left & right). Can such motion be enough force to cause any head or brain damage? Really worried, please advise. Baby is acting normal at the moment but it has happened 12 hours ago. Thanks a lot

What causes damage to infant's brain when shaken ?
bouncing the baby will not cause any brain damage .when someone shakes the baby out of or anger.
What Are the Symptoms you should look for?
If any of the following signs and symptoms appears then it means some damage has happened
difficulty staying up
trembling
difficult breathing
poor feeding
recurrent vomiting
bluish discoloration of the skin
seizures
muscle weakness
What is my advice to you ?
I advice you to do the following tests in case of any emerging symptoms :
skull x-ray
eye exam
physical exam by a pediatrician
cbc
bouncing the baby will not cause any brain damage .when someone shakes the baby out of or anger.

extremely unlikely if there was tight fixation of the baby and if there is no falling or very rapid shaking
