Hey Doc,
My name is Ahmed, I am a 19 year old male. I had gynecomastia since I was 13, at that time I didn't take any substances that may have caused it. so, my question is if I get it removed will supplements like whey protein and creatine make it grow back?

Management of Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is an excessive growth of male brest to resemble female breast while it could be mis-interpreted with obesity which could cause breast fatty tissue enlargement. Gynecomastia when present could be manged surgically for cosmotic reasons with low rate of recurrence. supplemintation with protein or whey is a non hormonal substances that will cause no hormonal imbalance and growth of breast tissue, consult a plastic surgeon for further investigations and management
Investigations
After proper physical examination, hormonal assay including Testisteron, prolactin should be done to exclude any hormonal imbalance in addition to breast US to detect character of gynecomastia and breast tissue
