: Managment
When we talk about test of tonsillis , primarily and usually have to clinical examination for tonsillis which assist us to make diagnosis in case of pharyngitis or tonsillitis , But in some case we need to take sample and examine under microscope as ASO to examine streptococcus bacterial infection and to avoid complication as rehumetic fever or glomerulonephritis
: Advise
I advise you if you have some sore throat without fever or lymph node enlargment in neck to treat by some analgesia as paracatemol andhot drink as tea which is viral infection and improve mostly within 7-10 days , but if you have other symptoms as fever or lymph node enlargment or whitish spot in pharynx mostly will be bacterial infection and need to treat with oral antibiotic as augmentin with analgesia as ibuprofen
