Appendicitis is one of the most common surgical emergencies ,which needs immediate intervention , and the treatment for appendicitis includes surgical resection of the inflamed appendix ,also giving appropriate  intravenous antibiotics like ceftriaxone 1gm twice daily and metronidazole ,also giving intravenous fluids like normal saline and keep fasting .

 ? How can we diagnose acute appendicitis 

After taking appropriate history and performing physical examinations , we do CBC to look for leukocytosis and signs of infections , also doing urine analysis , doing serum electrolyte  ,also doing abdominal ultrasound to look for signs of appendicitis .
