when 10 years child took 5 mg of aerius instead of 2.5 it will not cause severe problem but the child should be assessed in the hospital and has ECG done to exclude the presence of arrhythmia an dthe presence of cough in feeling something in the throat may be due to aerius side effect or due to allergy from it which can be treated in the hospital by cortisone
