Causes and treatment of swelling after the accident:

Actually there are several causes for the gross swelling you notice after the accident and it should be valuated to be able to answer the different causes that would results in this current swelling < one of the reasons is the deformity rescuing in the underlying bone due to unhealed or mal-healed fracture one of the reasons also a hematoma after exposing to high grade trauma and blow to the affected area , one of the causes also muscle herniation through the overlaying sheets. One of the causes could be due to fibrosis resulting from previous trauma. Treatment depends on the underlying causes, sometimes surgery is recommended for bone/muscle reconstructions, sometimes physiotherapy is advised.
