How to treat prolonged menstrual bleeding
to stp the bleeding you can use tranexamic acid and you can also use the drug progestin and you should treat the cause of the prolonged menstrual bleeding which may be due to fibroid which can be treated by leuprolide and in some cases can be treated by surgery and in case of polycystic ovary syndrome you can use metformine and clomiphene citrate
How to diagnose prolonged menstrual bleeding
you should has PT and PTT and INR to exclude the presense of its prolongation and you should has CBC done to exclude presencer of low platelets and you should has abdominal ultrasound done to exclude fibroid and polycystic ovary syndrome
