Required investigations

 CBC blood test can be done to exclude anemia anemia or a rise in white blood cells that indicate the presence of bacterial infection. H. PYLORI  test can also be done and a stool analysis test can be done to detect the bacterial cause of stomach pain, and a gastroscopy and esophagus can be done to detect stomach ulcers.
