 Treatment of sore thrat
If it is a viral infection, it will not need a specific medications. You should get enough rest and sleep. Drink a plenty of fluids espcailly the hot one including herbs such as anise. Antihitamine such as cetrazine one tab might be taken to decrease the symptoms of congestion. Gaurgling with salty water twice daily might be useful. Furthermore, in case you have a bacterial  infection, you have to take an antibiotics such as Augmentin twice daily for 7 days and antipyrtic like dexamol 500mg 3times in aday
. If you have a COVID-19 infection you nedd to go to the hospital to get the proper care
What are the needed tests 
History and physical examinations done by doctor. Complete blood count to exclude bacterial infection. . PCR test to rule out COVID-19 infection
