Treatment of acute tonsillitis ?
You should get examined by a doctor to exclude presence of abscess around the tonsils. Treatment of acute tonsillitis include antibiotic such as AUGMENTIN 1000mg twice a day for 1 week, Paracetamol 2-3 times per day to decrease temperature, gargling with salty water 3 times per day, eat healthy food especially friuts and vegetables, drink a plenty of fluid at least 2 liters per day and take enough rest
Diagnosis ?
Physical examination is enough for diagnosis. CBC could be done to demonstrate the presence of infection
