Can woman with ovarian cyst deliver normally
Ovarian cyst is a cyst that is related to ovary and not related to uterus thus pregnancy can normally progress till delivery. Ovarian cyst is not contraindication for normal vaginal delivery thus there is no problem to deliver normally even patient has ovarian cyst.
Treatment of maturated ovarian cyst
It depends on many factors like number of cysts, size and associated symptoms. If it is one cyst with average size about 5 cm and no symptoms you can follow up the cyst with US. If it is larger than 5 cm or associated with symptoms like recurrent pain, it may need surgical intervention to remove it.
Investigations to do
Diagnosis is based on US for uterus and both ovaries with no need for other investigations.
