In 2005 I was diagnosed with Crohns after a endascpoe and my family history of colon cancer and colitis (sisters), I took pentasa for 3 years and steriod injections 3 times for relief up to 2010 when symptoms seemed to subside with pregnancy. In 2011 and 2013 I had kids and seem to have no further symptoms of crohns, in 2021 I had my gallbladder removed and the doctor said he doesnt think I had crohns at all? My question is can crohns disappear or show no sign of crohns etc? and how precise was the diagnosis for crohns in 2004? was it possible the doctor misdiagnosed and with family history what else could have caused this episode over the initial 5 years?

yes its possible but previous there is no complete evaluation and laboratory investigation for accurate diagnosies
