Treatment of diarrhea and back pain
It is common symptoms but usually not related to abortion. Fristly, avoid eating fast foods these days. You can take analgesics like TRUFEN PLUS three times daily in addition to Metronidazole 500 mg twie daily for one week. You can take anti diarrheal drugs like Lepromide tabs one or twice daily to stop diarrhea.
Investigations to do
You can do CBC for level of WBCs. Stool analysis to exclude infections of GI system. US for uterus and ovaries to check.
Causes of back pain and diarrhea after abortion
There are many expected causes like
- Drugs side effects
- Gastro entritis
- Amebiasis
- GI upset
- Other causes
