Treatment of vaginal infection during pregnancy?
Dear customer, there are different types of vaginal discharge with different causes. It can be water like but more thick (egg white) and this is normal which can occur during ovulation. However, it can be due to bacterial infection which can be treated by metronidazole 500mg twice a day for a week. If it's white cheesy discharge, the treatment will be mikonazole cream three times daily . Furthermore, it's advised to wear a cotton underwear and to keep the vaginal area clean and dry.
How to get diagnosed ?
By history and simple physical examinations. If it's uncertain, sample from the secretions might be taking to be examined under the microscope
