Hello,
I had a vaginal bacterial infection which i get almost every year and treat it with antibiotics. This time the treatment didnt work, is it possible that i have transmitted it to my husband and we are still both infected? Thanks

What are the treatment of vaginal infection ?
it depends on the cause of the infection. in case of bacterial infection, an oral antibiotic should be received like flagyl 500mg twice daily for 7 days . A topical medication is also suggested eg Dektacort cream 3 times daily esp. for fungal infection. vaginal suppossitory may be needed eg Amirazole .we advise you also to have make vaginal douches once daily .
can vaginal infections be transmitted to you husband ?
yes , esp. yeast infection, they transmitted to 15% of the partner so you both shoud be treated .
