Treatment of vaginal bleeding : 
the treatment depends on the cause so you should doing clinical examination and visit the doctor , and you can use Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs which is the First-line medical therapy for heavy and prolonged bleeding , or using Oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) , or Progestin which is the most frequently prescribed medicine for heavy and prolonged bleeding , and if the caus due to infection you can use Metronidazole 500mg 2 times daily for 10 days , and in some cases the doctor may prescribe Daflon 500mg 
Diagnosis :
By taking full medical history and clinical examination and doing complete blood count , Iron studies , Coagulation factor studies  , Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) level , Thyroid function tests and prolactin level , Liver function testsand kidney function tests , with Hormone assays and Pelvic ultrasonography
Causes : 

• hormone imbalances
• uterine or ovarian abnormalities
• Extreme exercise or dieting
• Thyroid disorders 
• sexually transmitted diseases
• diabetes
• fibroids
• eating disorders
• endometriosis.
