Dear Dr. Belal, Great day, Many thanks for your care, I have asked a question regarding pain in the upper right quadrant and gave details.I would like to thanks you for the answer I get relating to this question stating the change of habits and also the other symptoms which could be associated with a fatty liver issue. I would like to emphasize that there are no other symptoms except pain in the area under the ribs in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen. This pain is felt only if the area is pressed by hand. NO OTHER SYMPTOMS. The questions: ...Is it possible that the issue is not a fatty liver? .... Is there any conclusive test or tests to confirm or exclude the fatty liver probability? I am asking this as a separate question since I did not find a way on this website to continue and follow u after I received your answer with a thread continuing the first sequence. Sincerely, Imad
